This year’s Vacation Bible School Theme,
“AMAZING ENCOUNTERS WITH JESUS”

is taken from the theme verse:

“But these are written so that you may believe
that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God,
and that by believing you might have eternal life in his name.”
(John 20:31)

Our children will be looking at snapshots from the life of Jesus. They will see that these snapshots reveal that Jesus is the Son of God, the Messiah who offers them eternal life in His name. They will learn about faith and what it means to believe in Jesus as personal Lord and Savior. They will memorize and recite the MOTTO for the week:

“ZOOM IN!
FOCUS ON JESUS!”

Our children will have an opportunity to focus on Jesus from different biblical encounters He had with people during His ministry:
  • Day One – Encounter in the Temple, Luke 2:42-52
  • Day Two – Encounter at the River, Matthew 3:1-17
  • Day Three – Encounter on the Water, Matthew 14:22-33
  • Day Four – Encounter at the Tomb, John 20:1-18
  • Day Five – Encounter on the Road, Luke 24:13-35
These encounters will show children that Jesus loves each one of them and is ready to listen when they pray. They will learn that Jesus can be trusted to help them when they call on His name. They will discover how to invite Jesus into their hearts by repenting of their sin, trusting Him as Savior and Lord, and asking him to give them eternal life.

INVITE EVERY CHILD YOU KNOW TO

ZOOM IN!

and

FOCUS ON JESUS!

STARTING TONIGHT THRU THURSDAY

The truth is God loves us all so much. He wouldn't do the sacrifice if hew doesn't love is in the first place. That's why we should know how to give back and spread his words so that more people will have their own faith too. No matter what the situation will be, it's really important for all of us to hold on our faith because life is supposed to be about you and your relationship with Jesus. If you will not make a connection with Him, I am quite worried that you might be living a life that's not according to God's plan for you.

The Bible is not a book you finish reading.
It is a book that you read so that it may finish you.
